The District at Green Valley Ranch was the first metropolitan
lifestyle center to open in the Las Vegas area. The center, which
debuted in April 2004, is conveniently located at I-215 and Green
Valley Parkway and offers a unique mix of lifestyle retail shops,
restaurants, condominiums and office space.
The District creates a typically downtown environment in a
suburban setting. It incorporates a northeast pedestrian-friendly
“Main Street” ambiance with entrances to shops fronting a
tree-lined street. The first phase of The District, located on the
west side of Green Valley Parkway, features fifty fine shops and
restaurants with eighty-eight flats and lofts located above the shops.
Adding to the downtown environment are offices located above the
shops as well as in a separate three-story office building.
The second phase of The District is located directly across the
street on the east side of Green Valley Parkway. The Cheesecake
Factory was the first business to open in phase two on
August 1, 2005. Whole Foods Market, the world’s largest retailer of
natural and organic foods, as well as other lifestyle retail merchants
are scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2006.
Because of its unique character and design, the selection of
shops, the many restaurants it offers and the special events
it hosts, The District has found favor with residents throughout
the valley.
